Our steps
From Concept to Realization
The design process kicks off with an initial meeting between the landscape designer and the client. During this meeting, the primary goal is to understand the client's needs, preferences, and the scope of the project.
Inspirational landscape images are often presented to the client to help them visualize different styles and concepts. This discussion helps the client define their vision for the landscape design.
After the initial meeting, the design team begins working on conceptual designs based on the information gathered from the client. These conceptual designs are typically rough sketches or digital representations that provide an overall vision of what the landscape could look like.
The conceptual designs are then presented to the client in a second meeting. This is a crucial step as it helps determine the main direction and style of the landscape design.
Based on the feedback and preferences expressed by the client during the concept meeting, revisions to the initial designs are made. These revisions aim to refine the design and align it more closely with the client's vision.
It's common for there to be multiple rounds of revisions as the design evolves and becomes more detailed.
Once the final modifications have been made and the client is satisfied with the design, the landscape design is presented for final approval. This is the point where all parties involved need to agree on the design before moving forward.
After the client approves the final design, the landscape designer or design team can proceed to create detailed construction plans and specifications. These plans provide the necessary information for contractors and landscapers to implement the design.
The landscape design product is considered complete when all necessary documentation, such as plans, plant lists, material specifications, and any other relevant details, are finalized and ready for implementation.
It's important to note that this process may vary depending on the complexity of the project and the specific requirements of the client. Effective communication and collaboration between the client and the design team are key to ensuring that the final landscape design aligns with the client's vision and expectations.
